I used a leather conditioner balm on 6 black leather kitchen chairs: seat, front and back. Took me 3 hours from start to finish and that time was well spent. I was ready to put this once beautiful dinnerware set on the curb because the black leather looked gray, cracked and worn, but it looked BRAND NEW. It's really adorable. I used a leather cleaner first and let it dry completely. I used a soft cloth and glove on my hand and applied a very THIN layer to all leather surfaces depending on the direction and amount of material used. The instructions say to dry in 10 minutes and I actually used a timer on the first test piece. took about 20 minutes to dry to a matte or flat finish. it gave me more time to work on other pieces! Once the parts were completely dry, I vigorously sanded/buffed all areas with a clean, soft, white cloth, paying particular attention to nooks and crannies. Virtually no traces remain after buffing/buffing. The skin after buffing is surprisingly soft. I was wearing white pants and was sitting in a chair less than 24 hours after completion. NO color transfer. My chairs look like new. I wish I had known about this product a long time ago. Thanks for a great product!
