Review on SAHC634 Speaker Adapters for Acura & Honda Vehicles (2007-2019, 2006-2017) – 6.5” to 6.75” Compatibility – 1 Pair by Scosche by Jorge Toussaint

I used two pairs on a 2012 Honda Civic, one pair for the front doors and one pair for the rear doors. I protect both sides (car side and speaker side) with a thin layer of sponge against distortion and soundproofing. When you install them on the car, you need to use some force to secure them, but also be patient not to damage them. The only problem I had was that I couldn't use the original Honda bolts as the bolt heads don't allow the speakers to stay horizontal on these brackets. I saw someone spend some time making holes for the screw heads to keep them recessed. I found it risky to damage the washers and took the easier route, using different screws and tightening them slightly diagonally. The result is excellent. I drive an amplifier to all speakers and listen to music at high volume. I have never had any rattling, distortion or artificial noise in my system. I recommend this to Honda owners. Also, Scosche needs to redesign and find a solution to avoid sinking screw heads to make their product perfect.
