I am African American whose hair has changed since I went gray. My hair became brittle and very frizzy and dry. My hair has never withstood moisture. Ladies with thick hair, give it a try, just remember to wear gloves and a mask, the product is smoky and keratin will stick to your hands. I have washed my hair with shampoo and conditioner, it is not frizzy and holds up like a regular perm. My hair is soft and cared for. It stays on even when I sweat at night. I would not mislead you. I am very content and satisfied, and that rarely happens.
