Review on PANASONIC Amplified Cordless Phone With Digital Answering Machine - KX-TGM450S - 1 Handset (Silver) by Brian Trotter

I bought it for my father in law. Today I tested it. I didn't use the person on the other side of the line to test for continuity, but used a radio transcript of the speech at normal volume. No matter how I tried to adjust the volume and tone, both in the speaker and headset, the sound quality was terrible. Not only my father and the law, but also me and my wife (both with normal hearing) could not understand it. For comparison I used a mobile phone as well as a regular cordless phone from another brand. Both delivered significantly better results. Therefore 1 star. Sorry Phillips. I'll return it without calling you. The quality is so bad that I don't want a replacement of the same quality.
