I have been using this product for 1 month and have noticed that my hair loss has decreased significantly. A few other factors, I have used Rogaine with this product but I have been using Rogaine for a month and a half and that alone has NOT stopped my hair loss. That being said, I used the shampoo and conditioner as directed on the label and noticed less hair fall within the first 2 weeks. I don't know if it was the shampoo/conditioner that stopped my hair loss, or the combination of Rogaine and this product, or maybe the hair loss phase is over and over. In any case, my hair loss stopped while using this product, so I will continue to buy. The comments about the horrible smell of this product seemed excessive to me. Smells like kid power. The conditioner is much more fragrant than the shampoo. I always add a leave-in to my hair that removes stubborn shampoo/conditioner smells. This product makes your hair REALLY dry. I have curly hair (3b/3c) and I have noticed that my hair is drier and my curls are not as frizzy. But I'd rather have dry hair than no hair. So using bleach on your hair will definitely make the dryness worse. I haven't colored my hair in a few months now and plan on doing minimal treatment (no coloring or straightening) with it.
