It took about a week, the hinges work! Thought the spring hinges were a gimmick, but they actually work. I broke many books and flip-up sunglasses because they bulged outward on my fat head. I would say I have a big head and reading glasses rarely fit properly. They are excellent, fit perfectly, very light. I was looking for the right size glasses to use in my workshop. They don't slide down my face and fall off like the others. They match my temples. They are designed to flex outwards flexibly and not hurt and it seems to work great.
