Let me get rid of the positives. The price was great. The color and style was exactly what I wanted, about half the price of more similar ones in store. The actual installation was easy. The fan is fairly quiet and bright. Now for the cons: The instructions are complete rubbish. It literally jumps from step 1 to step 5 and then down to step 8 with step 4 at the back of the page. Seriously, this looks like a conspiracy theorist's board. This isn't my first fan install, more like my 10th, so I was able to install with no issues, but I'm feeling less familiar. The absolute worst thing is the "3" fan speed setting. You have: High - works exactly as it sounds. Medium to low level on ANY OTHER NORMAL FAN. This fan basically only has 1 decent setting, which doesn't eliminate the original purpose of purchase (to replace my daughter's fan which was mechanically stuck on the highest setting). Spend a little more money for something higher quality if you're just trying to get it to work.
