I have already discovered the value of the optics of these glasses thanks to the usual sporty style. I bought these for my mum who loved mine but has prescription glasses. She is 83 years old and was concerned about the extra weight caused by having an extra object on her head. But she says they are very light and don't cause this problem. As for the optics themselves, they sometimes feel like living in a travel brochure that uses polarizing filters to deepen the sky, watering it down and removing reflections and glare. . I live in Michigan and we drove over the Mighty Mac Bridge. It was a very typically beautiful Michigan summer day with a hazy sun making the water look dull gray. Put those sunglasses on and BAM! They appeared immediately, as if we were living in a magazine. it was so hard I have walked over this bridge many times, but with these sunglasses, it left the most unforgettable impression on me. Yes, the lenses are a bit flimsy, but for $20, I don't mind. At this price if they break I can afford another set. I've also been known to lose sunglasses, that's another reason I prefer them to keep the price as low as possible.
