Just got back from my first car ride with it. Was away 4 nights. The fan had a lot of power. I ran at the lowest of the three speeds inside my tent for about half an hour each night until it cooled outside after sundown. A large amount of air is moved by a fan. The light inside the tent is very bright. I had to turn it on at settings lower than the brightest except when using it as local lighting outside. Being able to turn the light or fan up or down is very convenient. The light is somewhat blocked and diffused by the fan housing, so it's a better area light than a spot light. This is not the best replacement for a camping headlamp. A hook at the bottom allows hanging on a tent blanket or camping tarp; Another handy feature. So far I am impressed with the cost of this device.
