Review on π PNY 512GB Elite USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C Flash Drive - High-Speed Data Transfer at 130MB/s by Eric Smithlin
Failed in less than a month
The 512GB version of this flash drive failed after less than a month of use. More specifically, one day my Dell XPS 17 laptop running Windows 10 Pro with this flash drive plugged into one of the USB-C ports hung on both reboot and hard reboot. After I removed the flash drive I was able to reboot but Windows started complaining about corrupted files which took a while to repair with Dell support tools. After the laptop was restored to a stable and normal state, I reconnected the flash drive, but the system did not recognize it at all - it was dead for my laptop.
