Review on 🫐 Toms of Maine Blueberry Children's Toothpaste: Naturally Delicious Oral Care for Kids by Adam Gerome

It has deteriorated

I have been using this toothpaste for many years because it is the only toothpaste that does not irritate my mouth. I can't stand the taste of mint, yet every toothpaste seems to contain a menthol flavor in addition to the main flavor. So far, Tom has had the same thing. Unfortunately, now this orange mango ALSO has a minty citrus flavor that leaves me with both a minty tingle and a taste I can't stand. While they changed the toothpaste to "match their other toothpaste products better" (I emailed them and this was their response), they also changed the texture to be more runny, meaning that every time when I open the lid, a thread of toothpaste emerges that slides across the lid, making the inside of the lid dirtier with each use. The changes also caused the toothpaste to foam horribly. Not only do I like mint, but the frothy texture of toothpaste disgusts me. This is a big problem for many other sensory sensitive people and while I have recommended Tom's to other people with sensory issues in the past, I no longer feel I can. I will have to keep using this toothpaste as it's the least horrible toothpaste I've found (Bert's bees burned my gums on contact) but I certainly won't recommend it to others and will continue to look for a toothpaste that suits my needs is equivalent to.
