I am taking my cat tomorrow so I bought this carrier to take home and use as a bed. I wasn't sure what size to go for, but based on other reviews I went with 23 inches. I'm glad I did, I think it's the perfect size for a cat to stretch out and sleep. pillow. I wasn't sure what size to go for, but the 22" fits perfectly. I read a review where someone said you need needle nose pliers to hold the nut while you screw it in. This may have once been the case but as you can see in the photo the slot for the nut is shaped like a nut to keep it from rotating. Simply insert into the groove, hold with your finger and screw in the bolt. Installation was quick and painless.
