Pumice stone doesn't give me the result I like - smooth soft feet. This works well enough for slightly disheveled feet, but I go barefoot and have thick skin that gets disheveled and calloused. I was really hoping it would work well, but the head isn't good enough and doesn't pick up dust as well as I'd like. And I end up having to sand my feet after use - so I might as well stick with my foot sharpening stick, which has two grit levels (sandpaper plane with a collar), one that quickly reduces thickness, and one that smooths my skin. I'll grind my feet dry and outside so there's no dust in the house. Working on wet skin just leaves my skin a little rough and chapped and I have to do all the work once it's dry. Generally a good idea. But curly legs are not my goal.
