Good but not great but that's why it's cheap.

I have Manfrotto Super Clamps and accessories for almost every other device I need. I was changing my gear and wanted to be able to mount the camera on a vertical tube so I started looking at Manfrotto friction arms but damn the price was killing me. At over $160, I just wasn't ready to bite the bullet, and I didn't need an arm that long. So I went with this little guy instead. Cons: - short arms - small clip that barely fits a 1.75 inch bar. -feels a little flimsy/fragile and the grips are flimsy -seems like the teeth are drawn attention to the tightening mechanism if this is set too tight (my tight setup, I think it will be good) -small size -easy to assemble Also like most of the reviewers I was very confused how to tighten the ball joints. Everything is controlled via a dial on the elbow joint. It looks weird but it works. Just install gradually as it tightens. It's strong enough to hold my Panasonic FZ1000 and I'm generally happy with what I paid for it. Let's see how long this lasts.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • I don't really like it, everything is fine

It can actually handle a full frame DSLR!
