I had trouble with another wireless charger mount that sometimes wouldn't charge and dropped my phone when I stopped to refuel, so I settled on this one. The mount works great but the suction cup that attaches it to the dashboard doesn't hold it. On hot mornings, the holder is guaranteed to be in the ground when you open the car. I thought it would hold up over time and it got better, but I have to tape it to the dashboard every morning to keep my phone from falling on the floor! It has a universal ball mount so I'll probably go back to my old suction cup with this charger. Advantages - holds the phone firmly - the charger works every time without putting the phone in the holder - opens after the car is turned off. It holds the charge for a while after the car turns off so you can reach your phone. Two mounts are included although I don't use vent mounts and the dash mount doesn't stay in place - looks nice and doesn't have any annoying bright lights like my last one which throws glare onto the windscreen at night. Cons: The suction cup doesn't work. I've tried wiping the mounting pad with rubbing alcohol and reinstalling it a few times - the release button is a little hard to press. I prefer the side buttons on my old - motorized locking mechanism. Yes it is a scam! This makes attachment more difficult and increases the risk of breakage! Give me a mechanical mount with a built-in wireless charger!
