I bought this because my case doesn't support top rack hard drives when a Radiator used for water cooling. The bracket construction is a one-piece stamping of sheet metal. This means that the connection between the housing and the attachment part acts as a hinge. This means that when used in a tower there is no support to prevent sagging. For me it's even worse when I modified it to fit two 3.5 HD's as it was only meant for one. As you can see in my photo I put in a temporary support. Even with two 3.5-inch drives, it only flexes half an inch (25 mm). When used with just a 3.5" drive, the sag should be much less. Although I've used it off-label, it still works with just a 3.5" drive. The disc is there, hence the 4 stars. I have a suggestion to fix this. Install a simple support bracket from the center 3.5" screw hole to the same mounting hole used for the main bracket (see image).
