Review on HET200 Hetty With AS1 Kit by Michael Paquette

I love this vacuum cleaner. All my adult life I've wanted a Miele so I can vacuum my crazy staircase (see pic). My home is a mix of hardwood floors, thick rugs, frieze carpeting, and tile. I needed something that could do all of this. I've done a lot of research on every canister vacuum on the planet. Meile had negative reviews for the rug if I didn't want to spend $1000. I watched a video about the Numatic brand (never heard of it) and how it compares to Miele and decided it was worth a try. I'm so glad I bought the Numatic for less than half the price. The canister is very compact, quiet, and works great on all surfaces.* I'm a user interface designer and a harsh critic of usability. Here are the things that get a gold star: The built-in nozzle tilt tool is perfect for switching things while cleaning; I like the hand winding of the cord; how the tools sit well on the back and do not fall off when cleaning; cord 30 feet long; the hose and sticks can reach any accumulations of dust on the ceiling; he doesn't roll down my crazy stairs; the dust bag is huge and has a HEPA filter; very strong suction power; tools work great; and it goes flat under surfaces. *I've read that extra help is needed on longer carpets, so I bought a 3rd party turbine head for $20 and it works like a charm - maybe not as good as vertical, but close enough. The pink smiling face is great too, but it can be removed. Hattie is my cleaning hero!
