Review on ECOSYS P5021cdw Color Laser Printer by KYOCERA 1102RD2US0 by Jamar Gow

This printer was bought to replace a previous color laser printer with built in duplex printing and card and envelope capability, so the Kyocera P5021cdw should at least have all of these features and it does! Comes with an installation CD and light cartridges (1200 vs the standard 2200-2500 pages) which is so typical for new printers these days! Too bad a complete set of replacement cartridges costs more than a new printer! I'm using an Ethernet connection, so I can't comment on USB or wireless capabilities. The only reason I'm not giving this 5 star rating is the untested features, which I can't comment on, and the rather confusing menu of buttons on the printer. The driver software provides access to most features, so the printer buttons are not used. As stated in the specification, the first page creation time is quite long, especially when waking up from sleep mode, but once the first page is ready, getting subsequent double-sided pages every 4-5 seconds is impressive. and it is much quieter than its predecessor!
