We bought this washer to replace one that was damaged outside of our building due to a car accident. While the instructions were fine, this isn't a task I would recommend for the average person. A full assortment of "pipe" installation tools should be on hand. A vise that you can use to tighten a leaking pipe or two is a big plus. Just a note: This item does not include any assembly parts for the base, you need to provide them by yourself. There is also no tee reducer/adapter that reduces the water inlet to the correct size. (e.g. a tube bib), which must also be provided by the person doing the assembly. The bright orange colors and orange tube covers are a nice touch and make this unit much more visible than our old one. Overall this is a solid product. Just make sure you have a few hours to assemble it, secure it to the ground and hook it up to the incoming water.
