I was hesitant to buy the pillow online because there was a 30 day trial period. I figured I could always return it if I don't like it, what do I lose? After reading several reviews I decided to try this pillow. This is my first memory foam pillow. As noted by several other reviews, you need to flip the pillow in the dryer (no heat) for about 20 minutes to fluff it up, then add or remove the filling to get the desired thickness. The chopped foam inside looks new and clean, some reviews said there was foreign material in your pillow. It smells slightly like foam, which disappeared after about a week, but didn't bother me. I've always had polyester filled pillows, this one is noticeably heavier and not as soft as I was hoping, but I've gotten used to it. As a sleeper, it's nice to be able to adjust the thickness to your liking. It's very comfortable without causing discomfort or damaging the ear like my old pillow started to do. After a few nights of acclimatization, I liked this pillow.
