I love this duvet. My kids love this blanket. That is the greatest consolation. It's the softest, warmest and most comfortable piece I own. The sherpa type material side is amazing. My children keep slipping away to wrap themselves around themselves. The size is excellent, the seams are normal. I like the shade of gray, but there's nothing special about this site. This is similar to the microfiber suede material used for some sofas. It is essentially a sheet of this material sewn onto a very thick sherpa blanket. This side is loose and feels almost slippery as it is not sewn tightly across the front like some other blankets. I read another review on this and I think people reading this review will stay away. I would be happy if I read this review. I'm glad I didn't read this review because this is the best duvet I've ever had and I really love it. My 8 year old says it feels like heaven and has already asked for one for his bed for the winter. Another reviewer mentioned folded stuffing or something, there's no stuffing here to bunch up. It is a very thick, soft, fluffy and plush sherpa material. That's great. Mine doesn't have any bald spots either. I have now taken my dry cleaning to the dry cleaner because it is too thick to wash properly in my commercial heavy duty washing machine. Maybe the other reviewer washed his very hard in an undersized washing machine, I don't know. I tried to find the bottom layer of sherpa-like material as pointed out by another reviewer, but I had to work hard to separate everything to reveal that layer. After that, all I had to do was run my hand over it to fix it again. This layer is nowhere to be seen on my quilt. Mine is uniform and looks perfect. The pillowcases are wonderful. I leave them to my kids so they can leave a blanket on my bed. My 8 year old said it was like sleeping on a cloud and both said they slept best on their soft, comfortable pillowcases. It looks beautiful laying gray side up on my bed. It doesn't look great, but it's cute. Although I don't like this blanket from this site. This is the Sherpa site that I love. This side up looks beautiful, but I sleep side down because it's insanely cozy, warm, and, frankly, just plain amazing. It kind of brings joy when you're under it because it's incredibly hygge.
