This is exactly the droid you are looking for!

Let's face it, a portable/foldable Bluetooth keyboard isn't the kind of gear that everyone needs on a daily basis, but the fact that you're reviewing this product and reading these reviews tells me that. that you are probably one of those people! So who needs such a device? I think the easiest way to explain this is to tell you why I bought it and it's very easy to type on my iOS devices. When I travel I rarely take the right laptop with me unless it's 100% necessary, so I'm left with an iPad Pro that I enjoy traveling with. Let's be honest, 99% of the time I travel I use my device as a consumption device and only in real meetings do I use the device for creation/presentation. Because of this, I no longer use the bulky keyboard case options I've tried in the past, aka Logitech, Brydge, or Apple's Smart Keyboard. I just don't need an always-on keyboard. If so, can I also use a laptop. So I use a thin but protective case from Zugu that protects my iPad and allows me to prop it up on my long flights to watch movies since I'm in 100 percent consumption mode at the time. Then, when I need to jot down some battle notes before a meeting or fill out a report at the destination, I pull out this awesome foldable keyboard from iClever and *BAM*. Now I'm typing as efficiently as ever. on any laptop. "What about the iOS keyboard?" Yes, iOS has an onscreen keyboard. But aside from a few quick notes, I HATE the tactless experience of typing on a pane of glass. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but there's something about the key feel that just gives me an all around better typing experience and absolutely means a better end product for me. So what I like about this keyboard. First, let's be clear that iClever has two versions of this keyboard for sale, and it's the larger of the two, model number IC-BK05 (IC-BK03 is smaller). What's not to like?! For me, the build quality is top notch. The compact folding is a great feature, but when the device is cheap then it doesn't matter how compact it is if it just falls apart on you. In my experience typing on this keyboard, I have had no indication that this device will fall apart unless it is due to my own mishandling. So build quality and compactness were paramount for me, but one thing I didn't consider but really appreciate now is a reliable Bluetooth connection. This thing connects in a flash during initial setup and then stays paired with the device until you put the keyboard to sleep, which is done by simply folding the device. and to turn it on - you guessed it, expand it! The Bluetooth connection is solid and I haven't had to lose a signal yet when using it at a reasonable distance. What is reasonable you ask. It's a keyboard guys. Most of us will be using this within 6 inches of the device it's plugged into, but I've also tried pairing it to my home entertainment system and for me it works from the couch, which is about 10 feet away from the receiver and it is without any signal dropouts. I didn't try it again because I would never really use it beyond that. The tactile feel of the keys is no worse than the keyboard on my MacBook Pro, the keys are up to the butterfly, and I chose the "bigโ€ version of this device and I am very happy with my choice. It's just as portable as the smaller version, but my hands get less fatigue because the keyboard is the same size as a laptop keyboard. The backlit buttons are really useful and the ability to choose between three colors: blue, green and red. nice addition! While I think blue looks the coolest, I'm leaning towards green as it's the brightest of the three colors and I find it most comfortable to use in environments where I use backlit keys. Finally, we come to battery life. And yes, it's damn good! The manufacturer claims a battery life of 10 days when used 8 hours a day, and that's really amazing. First, you're never going to be tapping it 8 hours a day for 10 consecutive days, but those are pretty solid numbers. They claim it's 90 days of normal use and it works for me! Standby time is a ridiculously good 218 days, and yes, it charges in 2-3 hours! I haven't actually measured how long the dough lasts, but if it's even close to what they claim, then you'll be fine. I will of course update this review if I find that the battery claims are significantly different. Overall I am VERY happy with this purchase and give my FULL recommendations to anyone considering such a device. This will be my new on-the-go configuration until further notice!
