Exactly as described. Easy to install and worked perfect with my rectangle sun shade 👍🏼 The only thing I would mention is the screws were not super strong. One side was mounted to the side of my house. I had to use different screws for those. They worked fine on the fence side. Overall very happy with my purchase.

Hardware is stainless, but the screws that come with it get stripped the minute you apply pressure to them. On the second bracket I had to use some decking screws to avoid have a stripped screw head that you couldn’t drive further or back out.

The hardware And the sail are great. It adds shade and I don’t have to worry about putting a 400 pound weight from an umbrella on it

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the nails don't do anything to hold the clips onto my home other than that the other items are great and I would get them again if needed.

Bought a kit, but one of the turnbuckles seized up almost immediately after installing them. I wrote the company, and they sent a new kit (not just an extra turnbuckle), sight unseen, no questions asked. That’s good customer service. Bought a second kit for a second sail shade, and two of the turnbuckles seized up again, almost immediately. I guess I need to look elsewhere.

Just go buy something at the hardware store, I had to go buy 2 new turnbuckles, the 2 that come with this kit started warping almost as soon as I started tightening. junk!

Good quality 304SS fittings. I recommend purchasing jam nuts for a few cents and installing them on one side of the turnbuckles to prevent them from loosening

Hooks are not appropiate if you want the shade to stay up in the wind, use only eye bolt type hardware (imho). May require frequent adjustments to maintain tautness of shade sail!

Got this along the sun sail shade to expedite installation. In addition to the kit, make sure you get rope thimbles and clpis to avoid an extra trip to the hardware store.

I didn’t use the Hellman hardware sail kit because the turn buckles were too small for my application. I wanted to return the complete kit to Hellman for a refund using the 888 977 5299 number provided by them and found the number was disconnected.So now I have a sail hardware kit that is useless to me.
