This spout set uses rubber stoppers with rings. They seal well; There is no oil or vinegar seepage as some other oil and vinegar dispensers have mentioned. EDIT: Now that they've been used for a while, there's a problem. The olive oil didn't seem to match the material of the cork. Now it doesn't fit properly and leaks. This turned out to be a disappointment. Therefore I downgraded my rating. Apologies to everyone who made the purchase decision based on my initial review. I'm beginning to believe that there is no such thing as an airtight or airtight thing. I'm thinking of trying an olive oil pump oiler. Dutton Lainson 606 Gun Lubricator I've had a similar one in my shop for a few decades and it works great. Maybe not as elegant as glass bottles.
