We bought two of these for our daughter's iPod and they have worked well most of the time. What I like is the combined rubber/plastic body. That's all I buy for my phones, the rubber offers some impact protection and grip while the plastic offers some impact protection. What I don't like is that the hard plastic doesn't wrap around the corners, which are the most vulnerable spots on mobile devices. I also prefer a one-piece plastic case with a rubber sleeve. These two-piece snap cases tend to break when dropped, leaving your case only partially protected. But for a kid's iPod, they work fine. I did not get a discount on this product in my honest opinion, I paid full price for the product.
