This product works great. We got it to keep our big dog from going upstairs and getting destructive. It comes with a micro SD card which I didn't know about and already bought for it. I still used our own because I didn't want to plug anything I didn't know into our computer. You take a micro SD card, plug it into your computer and record yourself (you can't record directly to UOM). You can use your computer to record whatever you want and then save it to the SD card (e.g. yell at the dog to come back down) and then plug it into the device and it works great! Make sure you only burn the MP3 file as the .wma file will not play. Also the loud setting is very loud which is great for us.
