I like that it is able to monitor many different sources of information in real time without having too much overhead or needing other software installed (like Adobe Audience Manager).
It can be slow during peak periods so if performance isn't an issue then this might not work well with large audiences/media streams since there's no way around latency issues at times! We use newsmonitordata mining as part our marketing analytics platform - we're looking into adding additional features such as sentiment analysis but also monitoring social listening platforms via another product called Sentimentstreams which will allow us some insight beyond traditional web metrics alone.
