Review on Edlund 50SS Stainless Steel King Size Can Punch/Bottle Opener: Efficient and Durable Tool for Opening Cans and Bottles by Mood Neboet

I have bent many, many can punches over the years. This is very annoying because it happens when I have to open a jar. I searched and found this kick that looked very strong. Some reviews said the hole he made was on the big side. It sounded great after all those years of tiny holes made with a bent punch. Shortly after receiving this punch I had to open a can. I thought how much better things would be. Then I realized that the small tab that was meant to be hooked on the neck of the jar was too big to hook. I've tried it on several cans and haven't found one that has enough lips for the tab to work. Part of the problem is the angle between the cutting edge and the shoulder. The cutting part needs to be at a smaller angle to the handle (closer to the flat punch) to work properly. I ended up having to use a can opener to make holes long enough to pour from. Made a mess. I don't recommend, it doesn't work. I wouldn't give stars, but my review wouldn't make it into the average rating.
