AUTOPHIX Scanner Diagnostic Graphing Battery Review

This is the worst diagnostic car scanner I have ever used. . The video will speak for itself, I purposely tested it and it failed miserably. I do not recommend this product to anyone.

Great color screen, easy to read, lots of useful engine and gauge stats and good solid rubber protection for the scanner if dropped. Perfect for a home mechanic or just to diagnose your car to prevent it being taken for $$$ by dodgy mechanics

My brother has been pushing me to get one for years. I travel a lot so I finally broke down and bought it. This has already helped me determine why the check engine light came on and verify what the mechanic said needed repairs. It's an extra layer of security for me when I have to go to the mechanic.

I like the good quality, easy connection to the car, easy to read the code, but I was never able to update the database after connecting to a PC, so I'm not sure if that was the problem why it didn't give me the wrong code in my car or because this OBD2 doesn't have software to read more codes/sensors because I've tried other OBD2 device I have 2 problems/codes

This is a very simple and intuitive scan tool. The instructions are easy to follow and it works great out of the box. I am very impressed with his accuracy and explanation of the codes found. He found the exact same codes as on a more expensive professional scanner used by a reputable local shop. Finally, with this scanner you can clean the code quickly and easily. Very impressed with this tool.

I bought this scanner in November 2020 and used it twice on my 07 Chevy Tahoe to clear some codes. The original scanner stopped working, after the third use it wouldn't turn on. The company got in touch after my bad rating and quickly solved the problem. I received a new scanner on February 5, 2021 and it works without any problems. Amazing customer service, I would wholeheartedly recommend this item to future buyers.

A big advantage for me is the "short description" of the codes. Went to a local car dealership and paid £150 for a scanner which provided a brief description. Returned it and got this one which does the same thing and is easier to use for a fraction of the price. I recommend this product if you're into DIY like me. This will surely help you to take the right procedures to diagnose and solve the problem. It will also serve as a great gift.

This OBD II Tester is AMAZING. The number of tests it can run is impressive. I bought it mainly to check the battery as I expected my battery to have issues on a full charge. I'm glad I know that now and can replace it ahead of time before it's in stock. I was also able to clean up the code that was preventing my auto start/stop feature from working. (may also fail if the battery is low). Very happy with this purchase and it has features not found at a higher price.

Very glad I made this purchase. It's easy to use - the connection is solid and connects instantly, the long enough cable means you can sit and read the device, and the display is nice and big. The features are good - check out the bakery, check the codes etc. My only suggestion would be for those writing the manual - while not useless it certainly could explain better how to opt out of the features, what the various shorthand abbreviations in it actually mean etc. Overall a good buy.
