Review on ๐Ÿ”ข Renewed Apple Magic Wireless Keyboard with Numeric Keypad - US English: Enhanced Functionality for Effortless Typing by Jarrett Love

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Comfortable keyboard for work and more.

Because I use macOS and Windows for different purposes, I needed a wireless keyboard with built-in rechargeable battery instead of AA batteries and a clean, thin and minimalistic aluminum design that fits my workspace. This is actually my second Apple Magic Keyboard with number pad as my first one (also bought from this Revain seller after a refurbishment in February 2020) was unfortunately accidentally damaged by spilled hot coffee resulting in some keys becoming partially stuck and even after cleaning affected the reaction . /remove corresponding keys (but that's another story). As I work creatively with macOS, my everyday operating system, this keyboard with dedicated keyboard shortcuts designed for the Apple environment is a nice bonus. It just works! When switching to Windows, the keyboard works the same as most standard PC keyboards, with the exception of a few differences, such as the Microsoft operating system (but the media keys work if supported by most media player apps), and there is no current battery status indicator in the Bluetooth bar in the settings window of Windows 10. Speaking now of the battery life, I have to admit that I've always been surprised at how long it lasts. Magic Keyboard. can hold a charge without having to connect to a computer, maybe the most positive thing I can say about this keyboard. All in all, I can use it wirelessly for almost 1,012 weeks before having to connect it with the included USB-A to Lightning cable. Ergonomic and flat keys might be a matter of personal preference - long-press mechanical keyboards are on the opposite side - but once you get used to them, they feel very comfortable. Even if such keyboards are not intended for gaming, I have to admit that I had no problems using them in such scenarios. Apple box) in new clean condition, with about 50% charge (so ready for wireless use), the only small detail the seller missed was the keyboard. The Bluetooth ID was renamed upon delivery (as seen in the attached image), but this can easily be fixed by changing the name by right-clicking on the device entry in the Bluetooth panel on macOS. To wrap up this long review and other blah blah, I'm very happy with this keyboard and it suits my workflow well.
