Great for the price and for beginners. Not designed for professionals.

I used my GF Apple Pencil and iPad Pro and then decided to give it a try. At $25 it was a bargain. Simple packaging and design. Advantages: compact. Slim. Available for young designers or people who want to experiment. Works with a wide range of devices including iPad mini 4. Pressure sensitive. Cons: The position of the buttons is annoying. The stylus MUST be used at an angle of approximately 90ยฐ to the screen surface, otherwise the scan on the screen will be quite wide. The sensor appears to be where the pen tip meets the pen body. REALLY BAD LINE GROUP when drawing slow diagonal lines (no problem on faster strokes). There is no dust cover/cover for the USB port. Legacy USB port (should be USBC). No palm deflection. I tested the stylus in several different uses, including drawing and note-taking. Also included are some drawings I made to test the pen. Speaking of art: PaperProcreateMoleskineConceptsAdobe SketchiBis. Works very well except for Moleskin. The Moleskine app continued to dangle lines at every angle, including straight V/H lines. The stylus responds well to the Paper and Procreate apps. Taking Notes: I have yet to find a "mainly" note-taking app like Notes+ that is responsive. If you draw on it, it's not too bad, but if you're practicing calligraphy or just making quick handwritten notes, it can be a problem. But it's a matter of your comfort how things look. I find that quick notes become imprecise and can't be followed up as quickly as I write. It can be an app, a stylus, or a combination of both.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs
