I've been using it for a few months now. Here are my thoughts. are they stable I think so. That's a great idea. No more big plastic jugs needed. Supplied in recyclable paper packaging. I feel better about my minimized carbon footprint (although the fact that I have to ship them from Revain, which in itself is an issue between deliveries and minimizing deliveries). Yes. I have a top loading machine. I use at least two strips at a time and place them exactly where the water will drain. Never had a problem with leftover stripes in the car. Does she clean? Something like. It's fine for lightly soiled clothes, but I can't just use one strip. I use two. For regularly soiled clothes (I have a toddler so think dirt/grime on white socks and food stains on shirts) I use 2-3 strips (less for smaller loads and more for larger ones) and no the clothes don't come out totally spotless, white and clean if I have used other cleaning products (e.g. Oxyclin). Also, after a few months of use, I noticed that my colors were fading a bit. Due to COVID19 it doesn't matter for our 'lounge' clothes but I am concerned that I will have to use them for my work clothes when I have to go back to the office (blacks etc). I think I'll reserve strips for regular clothes and use a special detergent (wool detergent) for nicer clothes when I get back to work so that the goal of not buying big plastic jugs isn't fully met. Do they smell good? ? Yes and no. I understand that some people say they don't make your clothes smell nice. The strips themselves smell nice. But during and after washing, the clothes smell unpleasant, like dirty water. Laundry smells nice after drying with the Bounce dryer. I have never tried without a dryer as I don't use fabric softener when washing. Is that good value for my money? They are definitely more expensive than regular liquid detergents. Each pack says it can wash 32 loads but since I have to use more than 1 strip to get clothes cleaner I don't even get 32 loads. So I probably use 3 packs a month for all my clothes (me, my husband, my toddler, plus sheets, towels, etc.). So no, it's not economical, but I take comfort in the fact that I don't produce much plastic waste. I hope these guys can improve their product, make it more durable, focus more on each streak, and keep the price down over time. Conclusion? They are fine and I will continue to use them unless I find a better plastic free product. Although I hope they improve their product.
