Review on πŸ“Ό Panasonic DMR-EZ17K DVD Recorder with ATSC Tuner Black: High-quality recording and playback in one device by Jonathan Yang

Great registrar! for TV & Video

I just had to write a review to debunk some bad reviews. This article isn't without its quirks, as many people have pointed out, but it's great at what it does. And he makes great records. When I got fed up with DirecTV and gave up the service, I bought two of these recorders to record off-air programming. These are a bit slow changing channels and gave me a few issues when I first got them, but after the initial break-in period they worked great! I record almost exclusively to Ram DVD and have found it to be a very versatile medium with excellent editing capabilities. It's true that its tuner only puts out 480p signals, but I basically want it to capture programs I can't watch and archive some shows that I want to keep. By the way, you can burn to DVD Ram thousands of times! Probably the only downside I have with my devices is the clock. For some reason the installation takes forever (about 20 minutes). Overall I think most people who buy this voice recorder will be very happy, but be aware that it needs to be restarted from time to time and can be slow. It just depends on what you use it for. The LP/4 hour mode is really good. I would hardly recommend the DMR-EZ17K to anyone.
