As a kid I loved blade riding and now I'm looking forward to riding these kids again these past few months. These were the best mid-range skates I could find. Prices have increased since I was a child! In the 90's a good pair of skates cost $40, but now they range from $120 to $200 for some quality skates. I only expected to use them a few times a week for night time exercises and I have no regrets. You get extra storage bags, a brake, a hex tool, and even socks. A grip/skate holder is not always guaranteed as I noticed I had not received one and they sent me another brake when I asked for it. I am not offended as this is still incredible value for what you are getting. Some people say they didn't feel stable in them, but as an experienced skater, I'll say that you need to tighten your skates to make them feel stable. Regardless, you'll feel a little insecure if you're new or returning. People also said they applied the brakes too quickly. You must learn to slow down without constantly dropping the brakes by slowly spinning the circle. (See YouTube) The coolest part of the skates are the light up wheels! I don't know how long they will last but I'm glad to have them for night riding. In general I recommend for the quality and the price.
