My son bought this set with money for his birthday. He is very tall for his age. but he's a toothpick! Now he is afraid that by the end of the quarantine they will not fit. I assured him he'd still be a toothpick when it was over!

This set consists of 4 pieces: knee pads, elbow pads, wrist pads and a helmet. The knee pads in this set are one of the most important pieces and are of terrible quality. The knee pads don't hold up and are practically useless to me. I will have to replace my knee pads with others, which sucks because this set was expensive.

Decent quality pads, they're comfortable to kneel in lace up and drop. The wrist guards are a little big for me but I think I have small hands. The biggest problem, however, is the helmet. The button on the back for adjusting the helmet circumference is completely useless. I twist it to fit my head and as soon as I let go it immediately returns to the fully open position. As far as I can tell, it doesn't have a lock, meaning there's no way to securely adjust the helmet to fit a smaller head…

I bought the same JBM (blue) in 2014 without a helmet and it still works without a problem despite a few falls. Of course it was dirty in some places, but that's okay. I won't have access to this equipment for a long time. So I had to order this new set with helmet. The helmet fits VERY well and all other safety gear fits as well. So the helmet is solid and doesn't feel cheap. The padding isn't as comfortable as it could be. More expensive brands have memory fiber padding that almost completely lines the helmet, but this one has hard foam pads that attach with Velcro on the inside top, back, and front. However, I can wear it for a couple of hours without much discomfort, but after that the pads start to itch and I have to take the helmet off.
