My son has flat feet and more often than not his shoes don't provide enough support and he ends up very uncomfortable and in pain if he walks very long or is playing soccer. I could not get the humidity to rise in the 1st one that was sent. Customer service was great!They offered to send me a new one but it was on back order. Decided to try the closed top version and it immediately rose and worked great!Upon inspection before sending back, I could tell that the hole for the hygrometer was cut too large and did not allow it to seal properly. Purchased 2 as Christmas gifts. The flashlight did not work on either of them. One of them had a corroded battery included inside the flashlight when shipped. So I notified seller and one of the products was sent to replace the one with the corroded battery. Received the replacement and once again that flashlight did NOT work either. So.basically it is JUST a telescoping magnet, disregard the part about the flashlight. Failed x 3! Would not recommend if you want the benefit of a flashlight.See full review

These can be shattered when the recycle pickup tosses them down on the curb, so I'm glad I ordered extras. They are suitably sized for a couple week's worth of cans and bottles and are very affordable.
