These blackout window films are helpful. Applying them to the window was not quite as easy as the instructions made it sound. No matter how hard we tried, there were a few bubbles here and there that made it impossible for them to lay completely flat against the window. However, it's been about three months now and they've never peeled or fallen off, so that's good! Used it to black out a RV Window. It works as advertised. Doesn't stay on as easy as others, but gets the job done. Probably go with a vinyl or something else next time.

Overall, this is a great product for darkening your room. But if you get any direct sunlight on the window, it will turn your room into an oven since black absorbs heat. If it's a window that only gets ambient light, it's ok

I poorly measured however it was easy to install and perfect to block out sun completely. You can not see through at all it is solid black. I cleaned my windows with vinegar and then used a little bottle with dawn and water. So far ive had it up for 7 days.

I looked everywhere for a total blackout film that didn't leave brown patches through, and was pleased that I found this. It costs more but it is true 100% blackout film. Husband is a shift worker and he needs to be able to sleep during the day, and this allows him the darkness he needs. Also, as other reviewers have mentioned - if you find light seeping through on the edges of the window where you cut the film at the window frame, black electrical tape is a great fix.

I used this in our baby room and it darken the room nicely! It's easy to install and I liked that you can cut it to the shape you need it. The downside is we've notice the adhesive is starting to come off on one of the corners but I put some pressure on it and it's stayed up, for now!

I followed the directions and they stick well. I live in the desert and have 3 17x17 inch windows above my bed and the light shines through early and bright! This was the best temporary solution for my new home, work very well!

Used this on the windows of the camper and it blacked out the light coming in perfectly. The only thing is you cannot use it on any glass that has some sort of etching or roughness to it. It won't stick. But it went on great and peeled off just the same. Plus had exactly enough in the roll to cover 6 windows of different sizes and a little left over.

Got these for my sliding glass door cause I hate vertical blinds do and wanted to ensure I had privacy. I didn’t even know blackout window films were a thing ! This product was very easy to measure and use . They have squares in the back to make measuring and cutting neater . The installation is pretty simple as it sticks to the window with water and completely blocks out the light .
