These blackout window films are helpful. Applying them to the window was not quite as easy as the instructions made it sound. No matter how hard we tried, there were a few bubbles here and there that made it impossible for them to lay completely flat against the window. However, it's been about three months now and they've never peeled or fallen off, so that's good! They don't block light completely around the edges of the window, so I recommending using them in combination with thick curtains is you really want to black out the room. Recommended!
