I could not get the humidity to rise in the 1st one that was sent. Customer service was great!They offered to send me a new one but it was on back order. Decided to try the closed top version and it immediately rose and worked great!Upon inspection before sending back, I could tell that the hole for the hygrometer was cut too large and did not allow it to seal properly. Minor problem but did not allow the humidity to rise as it should.Great looking product.
