I always carry a water bottle with me and have tried most of the big names - Camelback, Nalgene etc. Gatorade squeeze bottles are by far my favourite. I have 8 of these and have never had a leak or malfunction in a year so I bought 2 more. As there is no cap you don't have to put dirty hands on the top of the bottle to open it. I'm not saying all hands are dirty, but you get what I'm talking about. A lot of reviews say they have a problem with black mold growing in the lid and it can't be cleaned. If you bottle any sports drink (like Gatorade...) then it should be washed like any other bottle or cup you drink from. Sugar and other additives in sports drinks can form mold. Common sense. I use them ONLY for purified water and have never had a problem with mold. I recommend keeping the ones you only use as water bottles separate from the ones you fill with other beverages. You can't beat these bottles and given the price if you lose one you won't have much cash like other high end water bottles.
