I think I didn't look closely enough at the photo but the lettering is intentionally designed so there are no felt parts and when it arrived I was seriously concerned that the jacket is defective . This looks like a defect though, it doesn't look like it was on purpose. Also, the jacket is warm, fits well, washes well, so I don't have many complaints. The color didn't even spread, and I was afraid it would (I used paint traps when washing). I usually like this brand because the clothes are usually well made and the material is not cheap. This jacket is no exception and it's the quality of the finish
