Less is better. Spread it out and hold it for a few minutes
My favorite at the moment and it stays on for hours. I use the lip on a water bottle or straw because it dissolves in liquid. Once I figured that out, everything worked. Strong enough to handle the foods you need to eat. Taste is ok. As for cleaning. I rinse them off with a glass of hot tap water and they fall off. The padded grip feels good on dentures. Less is better.
