Very nice looking handles, balanced feel and considerable weight give the product an "expensive" look and feel. But after almost exactly a year and 7-10 uses, two of the four knives fell off the handles of the blade. The blade goes about 1/4 inch into the hollow handle and ends in a hook of sorts. I can't tell if this hook caught on an edge of the inside of the handle (I didn't see an edge or protrusion). Otherwise, the short inner part of the blade appears to be simply glued into the handle. However the blade is attached to the hilt, it's clearly a useless system. Looks good, feels good, but I wouldn't buy it unless I was just using the product as a nice prop.
