At the first attempt to use it seemed useless to me, after the first charge it and the remote helped only when pressing the buttons. Before I wrote my 1 star rating of the item and experience I tried again just to make sure it didn't work and it worked. It doesn't cause as much choking as the others, which is a plus but also means it could be a problem if you have a small throat. I have a fairly wide neck and it suits her perfectly. It seems a little weaker than the others, on the highest level it doesn't attack my muscles as much, but it should be enough for the therapeutic effect it's supposed to exert. I'm prone to headaches and migraines, usually due to neck muscles, this should work well to relieve my pain. I deducted a star for the initial problems I had; but will come back to adjust my rating by one star up or down if needed. I still see no other reason to skip this in your comparison of similar devices.
