Great food tracker, app needs an update

I received my Renpho kitchen scale and was immediately amazed by the great design. The scale comes with batteries which is a big plus. Setup was very easy and quick. In fact, all you have to do is download the app (a small booklet is included in the package that explains everything) and then connect the scale to the app via Bluetooth. I didn't have any connection issues, which was great. When I used the scale again on another occasion they said they were offline. However, after I turned the scale off and on again, the problem went away and they reconnected. Now the scales are extremely accurate. I weighed various foods on my current food scale versus a Renfo food scale and also tested the accuracy of the liquid measurement which was excellent. I have not tried the coffee function as I have a conventional coffee maker. Speaking of the app, it definitely needs some work. The food selection is small and you cannot scan barcodes or food codes to download food information which is a bug. However, you can put your own food inside. It's a bit of work up front, but if you tend to eat similar foods, it's worth it. I had trouble entering nutritional information with decimal places. I ended up multiplying it until all the information was whole numbers (you should note how many g/oz is a serving ---> e.g. 40g, 100 calories). I love that when you weigh different ingredients you can put them all on the same "plate" and that gives you the nutritional values of the ingredients and the overall nutrition of the plate. In addition, you will receive a recommended calorie and macronutrient intake based on your personal information and goals. However, I don't think you can change your nutritional goals (I tried but it didn't work). I have a Renpho scale (for humans) but I haven't figured out how to connect it and if it's possible to connect it to the app.
