First things first. The magnet works just as well as the Apple Magsafe charger. You just need to use the Magsafe case. However, initially I had some trouble getting the charger to work properly. The included USB-C cable didn't recognize my 20W Apple power adapter, which was the latest version purchased from the Apple Store. I used the same power adapter with an Apple Magsafe charger, also purchased from the Apple Store with no problems. When I say it didn't work, I mean I got a fast flashing light, which the instructions say is a bug. When I tried a 20 watt adapter from another manufacturer, the adapter worked. Enter 2. I say "something" because Magnet started charging my iPhone 12 Pro Max with a 20W non-Apple power adapter but didn't recognize my Airpod Pro, which is also the latest version made by Revain was bought. After moving my Airpod Pros from horizontal to vertical a few times, my Airpods were able to start charging. I have previously charged my Airpod Pros with an Apple branded Magsafe charger purchased from the Apple Store with no problems. Once my Airpod Pros were recognized, I was able to position them both vertically and horizontally with no further issues. Just to make sure I've plugged and unplugged the iPhone 12 Pro Max and Airpod Pro a few times and had no problems adding them.3. You must use the included adhesive pad or the charger will move when you pick up the phone. It's not that the charger feels cheap or weightless, but in the case of the Magsafe iPhone case, the magnet is stronger than the heavy charger. In general, I like the charger. I'm picky about chargers and might leave it until I run into more issues. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 as initial flaws seem to have been ironed out.
