I really liked my Zire 72, but.

When my trusty old PalmOne Zire 72 crumbled to dust, I knew I couldn't go back to traces of paper. I ordered this model because I no longer needed all the bells and whistles that I needed as a real estate agent. Big mistake - this device looks "prehistoric" and is very difficult to see with my 66 year old eyes. I will return this PDA and look for a better version.

Pros
  • Sleek case with protective flip cover
Cons
  • Some little things

Ok but buy V

Got a really good discount on my III and I'm glad I bought it. However, the size of the Palm V suits my (and most people's) style better. 2MB is a lot of storage unless your Outlook contacts are 5 digits long and you need to have 50 different apps. Graffiti is good once learned, which is not difficult. But while the detection is light years ahead of that piece of Apple junk I foolishly bought a few years ago (I had to have some), you can't record things on the fly and expect the system to…

Pros
  • Infrared transceiver
Cons
  • Not sure

I've had my PALM II for about a year now and am very happy with it. It's excellent at handling directions, meetings, alarms, tasks, cocktails, and even TV shows. Disk space is limited when you start using 3rd party apps (Irda Remote Control emulation, DocuemntsToGo, etc.). The backlight is very bright and the battery consumption (alkaline) is acceptable (1 pair per month). I bought it from a friend who bought it from another friend. I'm the owner of the 3D, but still it's holding up perfectly…
