Review on Kumho Ecsta PS31 225/45 R17 94W summer by Janis Libeks ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I expected mediocre quality, but the product was pleasantly surprised.

Size with a low profile 225-40 R18 - prior to that, Nexen had all four wheels filled with hernias; therefore, when choosing, I investigated the market's offerings for a long time, and the most important thing was the presence of a reinforced sidewall; Kumho PS31 at that time turned out to be a new model with such parameters. If you maintain a good pressure of at least 2.5, it will be readily balanced throughout the entire period, there will be no problems, and it will be erased equally. To be sure, they are noisy, both in the city and on the highway; they are also not at all inexpensive; however, this is the price to pay for having strong rubber and a double side. Both braking and handling are consistent with what is expected and well-balanced. For all five seasons, 50,000 kilometers, one minor hernia, and a tread residue of 4.5 to 5 millimeters. The model was taken off the market, and reviews have found that the new tires with the indices PS71 and PS91 do not have the same armor-piercing sidewalls or rigidity as the older ones.

Pros
  • tire that is resistant to wear and has a sidewall that is resistant to breakdown. Price. Beautiful design.
Cons
  • Both annoying and wasteful of resources. Heavy.
