I love that this cell phone belt pouch can be attached to your belt in different ways. However, I mostly use the belt loop to attach the bag to my belt. I think this is the safest way and it hasn't let me down so far. Because I'm quite tall and can fit in the driver's bucket seats, I carry my suitcase on my left side, side-mounted. This causes the least interference with my seat belt and is less likely to get stuck when I get out of the car. And since I hang my phone on my belt, the side mount works best for making it easier to take the phone on and off when I'm carrying it. At the moment the velcro flap works quite well and in my opinion is more secure and stronger than the zipper. The material of the case is thick enough to give my phone enough protection from anything I might come across. It may not be perfect in every way, but for my use it's more than enough!
