Definitely no chambray; more like 100% polyester. I should have checked the details of the information instead of relying on the title. After washing to remove the strong sizing, the material becomes so thin that you can easily see through it, meaning the sheets are not durable. I had trouble folding sheets as they tend to get static and are quite amorphous and flexible. I like sheets that have some substance. This thin flimsy fabric curls up, stretches out on the bed making it look baggy and dirty, keeps you warm while you sleep and can't even be cut and used to make a face mask - it's so thin.
